Cowan & Co are pleased to announce that we have successfully secured SCA funding for a number of our clients for a range of building projects, following successful bids to the Diocese via the Local Education Authority School Condition Allocation (SCA).
This year our successful SCA bids include a wide array of building repairs and refurbishment projects including the following;
- Full building refurbishment
- Roof replacements
- Window replacement
- Boiler replacements
- Heating pipework replacement
- Electrical rewiring
- Septic tank replacement
- Oil tank replacement
- Toilet refurbishments
One major project we have successfully secured funding for is a major refurbishment of an infant school building for a primary school in Accrington. The infant building was severely damaged following a recent lead theft and consequently requires both extensive roof refurbishment and full internal refurbishment. Cowan & Co are acting as lead consultants for the project and are currently project managing the works on site and during the current Covid-19 pandemic. As can be seen from the photos below the refurbishment works are well underway and the project is anticipated to be complete in the coming months.
We are delighted to have secured much needed funding for our clients and are excited to progress these projects over the coming months.
We also are anticipating the publication of the Condition Improvement Fund 20/21 results later this month, keep checking our news page for updates in relation to these results and all our other projects over the next few months.
